While your in Monterey check out Dennis the Menace park. It’s the coolest kids park in the universe. Acres of slides, mazes, you name it. You can even rent a paddle boat.

Drive up the coast to Santa Cruz in the fall and visit Natural Bridges State Park to see trees full of butterflies…gorgeous!

I forgot to add, the Monterey Bay Aquarium is terrific. The jellyfish are my favorite and they turn out great in photos.
