We recently rented a private villa in Acapulco for our family reunion, this is indeed a great option for traveling with kids. Casa Iguana had a private pool and beach, spacious accommodations for over 30 guests, and an onsite staff that prepares meals for you.

We have found vacation rentals are wonderful with an infant, toddler, and also now as a preschooler. One thing we look for is location – a central rental is great for afternoon siestas!

Here is one rental we really enjoyed in Vienna, Austria. http://www.hahnsvienna.com/
Directly in the center of Vienna – a very large, brand new 3 bedroom apartment. Hahns is the Korean owner, who’s wife is an opera singer. He is very friendly – but his English is better on email.

The apartment is up on the 6th floor (I think it was 6th) but there is a nice elevator. I believe he will rent out fewer bedrooms (just locks some doors) if 3 bedrooms not needed.

Nice washer and dryer in rental as well as computer with internet and Skype. Full size kitchen and living room.
