"Tyron's Palace" it's got great history lessons and fun stuff for kids to do. My kids ended up making cotton (wool) balls, dressing up, balling (not sure of the spelling), making candles, etc. In Wilmington there is MANY things to do, my favorite was the train museum and children's science museum. Hope you enjoy your time in NC.
