The funky slanted yellow things behind my daughter and I are the Kubuswoningen or Cube Houses in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
You can tour the interior of one of them to see how clever design and architecture creates interesting places to live.

Wow, they look like little dollhouses
it must be fun to explore the inside
Wow! Those are very cool apartments. DH, the architect, would be particularly interested.
Ciao!
I love that color. The Dutch really have it down when it comes to interesting design.
It’s so unreal looking it looks like you’re in front of a movie set.
cool pic
I love funky architectural finds like this!
Hi, lots o’ visitors! Yes, they are really neat inside, with lots of built-ins and wonderful views through all of the windows. I like to show my kids interesting architecture (they mostly appreciate it if I plan the visit well.)
What a darling picture of you and your daughter! Wow, so this is the one who just got her drivers license? Time flies!
We’re really adoring fun architecture on our world tour too, but must admit we missed this one, despite being all over the Netherlands.
We find even the playgrounds tend to be more creative in Europe. Fun!
Hi soultravelers3, Yes that’s the one. We need to go back soon so I can have a whole updated series.
