On our trip to Macchu picchu we left the stroller in the hotel. Carried the little one and I think there is no issue with taking a back pak to carry your baby.

Great story – I was wondering if Shashi used a backpack to carry his toddler in at Machu Picchu and, if so, if there were any problems upon entering regarding the size of the backpack.

Actually it isn’t, I just wanted to pass along what was useful to me, its too bad you can’t give advice now a days without getting accused of it being self servicing. I put the website that I found useful in the website field, not knowing that it would link to my name as if it was my own.
