They’re supposed to announce the panels in October, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Howdy, this is a great idea and I’ve voted for it in the panel picker!

From what I can tell, you’re located in Austin, right? If so, you may want to check out Refresh Austin (www.RefreshAustin.org). We’re a local group of Web folks that span the various dimensions of Web professionals and amateurs, so we include producers, writers, a photographer or two in addition to designers and developers. We do our best to build the local Web community and cover different subjects and ideas, so you’d be quite welcome to join us if you’re interested. It’s a small slice of SXSW every month + an e-mail list.

Sheila, great idea for a panel, and I hope you get the votes for it to happen. Our TH Blog visitation is growing very nicely, and just today, we had two calls from folks wanting to know how they could get June Naylor to blog about their attraction/destination!

I think that when TH launches its new website/blog sometime in 2008, it will be a lot more interactive, and hopefully will be more engaging for visitors.
