You know what happens when you go to the Best Buy electronics store on a Friday and buy a little video camera for your laptop?

You cannot wait to post that first “vlog” post; a video blog.

A short personal welcome to Family Travel, from Seafarer….

Hi Ian!

Thanks for coming all the way from Down Under to say hello and bring encouragement. Always great to have Twitter friends wandering through….no worries, I’ll always tweet the latest news from FT.

Feeling trim, Sheila

Hi Sheila, looks like you are already having fun with your new video camera…I’d still be staring at the box and wondering where the on/off switch was…

looking forward to seeing how you get on vlogging or video blogging….

cheers from NZ

Liz

Sheila - that’s came out great! It is so nice to see the face and voice behind the printed word. And you look fine - I don’t think you were having a bad hair day either. Of course, now you are going to have to tell your family that they are not allowed to ever leave coats, laundry, pizza boxes, etc. lying around within view of the camera. I just got an inexpensive video camera and I’m looking forward to taking some outdoor videos to put on my blog. I look forward to seeing more of your videos - keep them coming. Best wishes from the already snow-capped mountains of VT.

Hi Liz and Jeff,

Thanks for the encouragement; now I just need to shoot some more of them and keep the momentum going!
